Shenk’s Mill Covered Bridge. Spanning Big Chiques Creek. East Hempfield, Pennsylvania. Built in 1847 and rebuilt in 1855 using the Burr Arch Truss system. The 96’ span was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
