Nocturnal Timetable Nap

During the day green treefrogs (Hyla cinerea) crouch motionless in vegetation in and around water, relying on their coloration to protect them from predators; each evening springtime to mid-summer the nocturnal choruses of males resound in hopes of attracting a female

I found a green treefrog – my first sighting! – perched on our front porch atop an amaryllis plant in the early autumn morning sunshine!
