Album – Pentecost Sunday afternoon in Schierstein – 20MAY2018:
Pentecost Sunday afternoon my friend Dori & her sister-in-law Edda took Joe and me to the Wiesbaden suburb of Schierstein to celebrate my 26th anniversary date of hire with the Company: I met Dori and her brother Peter at church in Wiesbaden 26 years ago!
Today we walked through the picturesque town of Schierstein to its riverbank, went on a river cruise to Biebrich & back, then ate dinner: we had reservations for a celebratory meal at the only floating restaurant in the Wiesbaden area, Noah's Ark!
After we strolled along the shoreline and returned downtown, Dori and Edda brought Joe and me back to the crew hotel in Mainz.
This delightfully awesome day was all to soon over, but not its superb memories: I'm happy to share these images with you and hope the narrative helps you vicariously join in with us.
