Dear Jade,

 

I hope this letter finds you in warm weather with radient plumage.

 

The climate in Corsham is rather colder than we're used to and I reluctantly 'wish you were here,' but forthrightly suggest you're better off in India. I do feel I somewhat stand out, and the locals do rather stare sometimes - I believe it's my colouring which I must say is quite resplendent compared with the local apparel; which might be considered a little drab for our tastes.

 

In any manner, I ought not write much longer; I have to entertain - I've gotten rather popular with the hens. Wish I could fly home but I merely flutter.
