Bahamian Sea Cave!
This is a sea cave in Lucayan National Park on Grand Bahamas Island. It is part of the Kayaking tour we took. The guide invited me to step in the water and see how cold it was. Of course to me who is used to the Atlantic sea board it was quite temperate. But to the local Bahamian the water is considered freezing! There were fish in the water, which is fresh water. The fish were originally salt water fish who had swam into the caves. Once the fish become fresh water fish they cannot go back to the salt water. Mostly Grey Snapper. There were also Buffy Flower Bats all over the roof of the cave! It was really cool! I don't remember who the man is sitting next to me.
