Lagunas Baltinache
Incredible night at the Lagunas Escondidas de Baltinache, in the Atacama Desert in Chile. The Baltinache Lagoons are 7 small saltwater lagoons that appear in the middle of the Salar de Atacama. During the day, the green and transparent waters of the lagoons are the main attraction. During the night the stars bring even more beauty to this surreal landscape in the middle of the desert.
In this image taken in April/2016 we can see Mars and Saturn aligned just above the Milky Way core.
