位於九龍塘衙前圍道的匯豐銀行宿舍樓高十層，建於1951年以前，1956年因處於新航道範圍而被拆卸為四層，政府於歌和老街今和域道另建三座一模一樣大樓以作補償安置，即今和域臺A座、B座和C座。
The HSBC Flats, built before 1951, were chopped down to 4 storeys because they were under the new flight path. The government built another three buildings with same pattern in Cornwall Street for compensation.
