Memorial and Pierhead

Merchant seafarers war memorial and pierhead building. The memorial, designed by Brian Fell is one of my favourites, a hull of a ship from one side, this face from the other.

 

I've seen lots of other lovely photos of this memorial and thought a way to learn would be to replicate those. These are my attempts, and I'm quite happy with the results. I'd like more red from the pierhead building, the software I used (called Fusion) doesnt bring much colour unfortunately (but is free!). I'd also like to work out how to hide the lampost sticking out from behind the memorial, or how to better angle the camera so this doesnt clash, but thats for next time!
