The company states that Micro Drone’s retractable micro gimbal is the world’s smallest and tiny and a robotic arm can easily stabilize the onboard HD camera (720p). Compatible with iOS and Android devices, the drone also works with Google Cardboard VR, which will allow the pilot to convert their smart device into a HUD display and view the drone’s flight in first person. The Micro Drone 3.0 stores photos and videos on a micro SD card and streams to a tethered smartphone via Wi-Fi. We will build this into Meerkat’s Live Streaming platform to share in real-time. Press “Stream” and instantly the live video is broadcast to the Pilot followers’ Twitter feeds. Friends who have Meerkat will get a push notification when the Pilot starts streaming the video from his/her Drone. They can watch, comment and the Pilot can join other Drone users around the world with a community map, all built into Micro Drone 3.0’s app. Editing Suite Extreme Fliers Stretch Goal 3: All photos and videos took during flight are conveniently stored in “My Journal”. Then, the Pilot can easily edit the footage with a host of tools including crop, trim and color enhancements. Additional features such as optical image processing, video stabilization, facial recognition and panoramic photo capture are also available.
