EWSG Batman 1-1: "Trial By Lightning: Part One"
He's chasing me, like always. This game of cat and mouse will go on forever. I run through the Chemical plant clumsily, not caring what happens. I look up occasionally to see if he's still behind me, only to see him moving like an animal, on the rafters above. We continue until my scarlet cape gets caught in between the catwalk, and I fall to the floor. I pick myself up only to see a silhouette of a man, glowing white eyes. He picks me up by the collar, and punches me in the face, then the stomach, causing me to fall off the end of the railing, catching myself on the railing. I look up to see his hand, reaching out to me. I take it, and pull with all of my force, causing us both to descend into the pit.
Six years later
I walk down the halls of Wayne Manor, seeing how horribly decrepit I've let it become. I walk through the main hall passing portraits of my ancestors until I reach the end of the hall. I turn left and walk towards the door to my room, I then twist the knob and push, hearing the loud but calm creaking emerge from the hinges. I walk past my old bed and dressers, reaching the grandfather clock. I open the glass covering the main mechanisms and turn the hands from 3:01 am to 10:27 pm, the time of my parents deaths. The main body of the clock opens to reveal a stairway leading to a pitch black cave.
“On.” I say, and many industrial lights illuminate the surrounding area. I walk down the stairs, and make my way to the suit in a glass case, seeing my reflection in the glass. The black dye is wearing out, and the one part of my face I didn't get fixed with plastic surgery reminds me of how the event didn't affect me as it did to him. I see the mechanical suit, covered by an enormous tattered cape. I shift my eyes up to see the cowl. My real face. I see the cold white eyes stare back at me as I scowl. I hear footsteps coming from the stairs, and turn my head to see Alfred. He brings a platter with an entire rotisserie chicken sitting there.
“Sir, have you ever considered stepping out of the cave for once?”
“What do you need, Alfred?”
“I believe I have a lead for you. There seems to be a man wearing a costume with question marks on it, and he's threatening to bomb the City if you do not face him in the Top floor of the Gothcorp building.”
“And I thought the night was over.”
I press my hand on the glass, initiating a scan of my palm. It slides to the left, and spins the “Suit” which is now half of a hollow shell. I step into it, and let the pieces extend over by body, then compressing itself onto me. I then take the cowl, and slide it over my head, as it attaches to the suit around my neck. I walk to the landing pad, to see the batwing waiting for me. I climb on Top of it, and crouch down to sit in the cockpit. I fly the aircraft up through the upwards tunnel, and through the lake next to Wayne manor. I fly from the Island to Gotham city, and zoom through the skyline, making my way to the Gothcorp building. I land the Batwing on the helipad, and jump out. Running to the roof entrance. I kick the door off of it's hinges, and run down the stairs to the Top floor. I open the door to find three men, dressed in bloodied street clothes. I then look above them to see a figure. He's in a black tuxedo, with a white mask, a green question mark embellished on it. He holds two guns, one pointed at me, and the other at the man on the left.
“Out of these three men, two are policemen, enforcers of the law, and one is a murderer and rapist. But the question is Batman, which one dies? Remember, if you refuse to answer, you die.” The Man breaks into maniacal laughter.
I look at the line of the gagged men, allowing my cowl to scan them.
“I heard it all sir, I'll take their faces and run it through the computer.” Alfred says, confidently.
I stand there, staring at the man with glowing white eyes, waiting for Alfred to give me the results.
“You have thirty seconds left before I blow this one's brains out.” the man says.
“Sir, it appears that all three men are GCPD officers, he's trying to trick you.” Alfred says through my earpiece.
“It's a trick question. They're all cops.” I say.
“What? No! You cheated! There's no way to know that without cheating! You broke the rules, Batman.” He says, pointing the gun at me.
I lower my right hand into my utility belt, and pull a small projectile out of a pocket. Before he can pull the trigger, I throw the projectile into the barrel of his gun, causing to backfire. I take this chance to run at him, and kick him in the stomach, sending him flying into the wall. I ungag and untie all of the officers, leaving “The Riddler” to them. I'm about to make my exit before I hear one of the officers say: “Why did you save us?”
“It's what I do.” I say, before kicking the window and extending my cape, gliding down until the batwing appears below me, allowing me to drop in.

End of app. If you couldn't tell, the beginning was in the perspective of the joker. Huge Thanks to Dino or Mr_Red_2001 for help on the twist, and suit. If I get the role, I'll be dropping Shazam, but finishing the story and keeping it canon, similar to BrickBros and his hawkeye series.
