Root Glacier
Nearly 16 miles in the distance Root Glacier flows down from the mountains and merges with the Kennecott Glacier to create the apparent dirt hills just beyond the lake. However, the dirt hills are in fact glacial ice covered by dirt.
Taken 15 July 2020 at Wrangell St. Elias National Park and Preserve, Alaska.
