Backup Owl...
This was my first time in the presence of these beautiful creatures! I couldn't tell which was the male and the female of this Burrowing Owl pair, but I spent some time watching the one of the left yawn, and yawn, and yawn. And then they worked to groom each other. Here the one of the right has moved closer and in front of the other who gives me the "eye" behind its mate.
