Kasese District Local Government (KDLG) Workshop on ICT and eGovernance

Kasese District Local Government (KDLG) in partnership with the Collaboration on International ICT Policy for East and Southern Africa (CIPESA) through the E-Society Resource Centre has been implementing a project on “Improved transparency, accountability of governments, increased citizen participation in governance and realisation of human rights through ICT”.

The project is implemented through community sensitization, engaging various civic groups and the media on the use of various ePlatforms to follow up and monitor service delivery issues.

It’s against this background that the E-Society ICT Centre-KDLG organized a half day orientation meeting for the members of the District Executive Committee on ICT and electronic governance.

The meeting took place on 12 April 2017 at the E-Society ICT Centre, Education building in Rukooki, Kasese in western Uganda.
