Last weekend's project occurred in 3 phases over 3 days: remove old pine bark mulch, put down weed barrier, & spread shell mulch. We used 2 1/2 yard of washed shell mulch. We recycled the pine bark mulch around plants in the backyard. The effect is lighter, brighter, and more Florida-y. The shell mulch contains pieces of coral & all kinds of shells, which is fun to look at.
