This habitat enhancement project could be called a wrap at this point. The pond is up and running properly and the birds are enjoying the areas that were built for them. The pond lilies and bog plants are thriving and the mosquito fish are doing well and making more. It's time to add the rest of the (native) fish.
Once the construction zone around the pond is cleared and re-worked I shall take a photograph of the whole pond. As for size, it holds about 3,500 gallons of water and is approximately 24' x 12' with areas of depth ranging from 1' to 3'. The bog area is about 7' round and 1.5' deep, it is filled with tiny gravel and plants to filter the pond naturally.
