after the flood
After 9-10 inches of rain in late July, I finally ventured down to one of the low-lying areas where some of the flooding occurred. It was an eerie feeling as we drove along and saw that there was still a clearly visible water line along the area. I only managed to get a few photos. In the 2 minutes I was out of the car, I got at least 15 mosquito bites and the decaying smell was overwhelming. My daughter said it was like driving through another world.
