Former Petrol Station - UK - Alfall Road, Coventry, West Midlands CV2 3GF 3
This was a garage I totally missed when I did my main trip to Coventry in 2020. It was only later on when Ian Calvert posted photos of this place that I even knew of its existence! As a result I popped by and grabbed a few snaps of my own. The low sun again made certain angles challenging, and in order not to duplicate angles already posted by Ian I have narrowed the post down to just two images. It seems certain that petrol hasn't been sold here since well before the first Streetview image was taken, the prices on display in the 2008 images are absurd! Back then there were four pumps on the forecourt in a row, two Avery Hardolls either side of the Dunclare pump that's still there, and a fourth (I think) Wayne model completed the line up.
Ian mentions a Murco floor sign that appeared in 2022 on the forecourt, but I think that's just coincidence and not a previous brand. Ian also mentions a Flare logo starting to appear on the diesel pump which looks correct, but it may have come in second hand and not been a former brand of this site. There are still a couple of Flare branded sites in Coventry so highly plausible nevertheless.
Overall a really scruffy old UK site, the sort I love to encounter and photograph, so my thanks to Ian for drawing my attention to it! I'll add one of his photos below showing a totally different view.
