Gradually it seems that Certas Energy are phasing out the Pace brand name with Gulf. There are still quite a few Pace sites around but this one, like a few others I have seen, has now changed. It's a surprise to see an older style sign at the near end here. It's roughly where there was a Renault sign standing a few years ago when this was a dealership garage, whereas now it's just a convenience store and filling station. I'm not sure Baldocks were Renault dealers for quite some time, the sign was just a leftover from that era, but certainly Baldocks went out of business a few years ago leading to this change.
