This was clearly once a Texaco branded forecourt but it hasn't sold petrol for a long time. Even the earliest Streetview shows it as a Budget car rental base with half the pumps removed and two still standing. There are lots of remnants of Texaco branding in the earlier Streetview images but the pole sign still standing suggests Gulf as a last brand which is a bit of a contradiction but I suspect the pole sign colour scheme came from the livery of the Budget car rental era. For some reason the pumps were updated between 2012 and 2016, but no fuel sales were taking place. I wish there was an intermediate Streetview between those dates as it might give a better idea of what was happening. I do wonder if was on the verge of re-opening but did so only briefly. Maybe they were for private use for the taxi company that was based here at that time.
