Gulf - Brewers of Nuneham Ltd, Nuneham Courtenay, Oxfordshire OX44 9EF 8th August 1995
Here's a second photo of Brewers of Nuneham from a few years after the previous one I had posted. Then it was a Burmah site, here it is Gulf branded. There's only four years between these images so it's hard to believe it had a third different brand in between, but Dan Lockton mentions in the comments of the Burmah image that he thought it was UK branded in the mid 1990s. His photo from 2002 does show clear UK branding on the pumps, and certainly very different to what we see here, so I think that it was Gulf first and then UK.
The mannequin in high vis jacket and hard hat was there in the Burmah shot, but gone by the time Dan took his photo. Different jacket here though, more of a "gillet jaune" than the full style jacket in the earlier image. I'm guessing it was some kind of speeding control in the days before speed cameras.
Sadly the garage closed and was redeveloped quite recently but at least the lovely old building was kept even if all the showroom and workshop part of the premises was taken out and replaced with some new houses. It was done reasonably tastefully so could be worse!
