Essar - Willenhall Road, Wolverhampton, West Midlands WV1 2HL 1

This site has a pretty unusual history over the last decade or so. The earliest Streetview shows it as a run down site, probably closed, and seemingly last branded Power. The pumps on the forecourt are in a dark blue colour as is the canopy edge, but the clincher is the single diesel pump over to the right corner of the site which was showing a Power pump decal. Soon after the site was stripped of the pumps, the canopy edge painted yellow and the site became a hand car wash. It remained like this from 2009 through to June 2016 when the site was in the process of being renovated. By the following year it was a fully operational Texaco site but lasted just a couple of years before closing and the main entrance being fenced off. Then it gets really strange. The 2020 Streetview shows it freshly rebranded to Bros, a brand I have never heard of, possibly a one off independent branding and that only lasted a year or two at best before it became the Essar site you see here in this photo.

I wonder what brands it might have carried much earlier on in time, seems like there would have been a few!
