It's quite a long time since I was last at this site, all the way back to 2016. I'm glad it's still there, still as scruffy as ever, there is a big clue in this photo to the previous brand of Gulf. Half the main name board has fallen off the front of the building revealing writing in the exact shade of orange that Gulf uses. Streetview shows that the site was indeed previously branded Gulf, and earlier still it was a UK site. The pumps have changed in that time but little else has apart from the branding.
