Former Petrol Station - North Street, Crewkerne, Somerset 3
Here we see the one time service station on North Street Crewkerne as it stands in 2024. It's been a hand car wash for the last twenty years or so, having ended petrol sales I think around 1996. There's a suspicion that it might have spent the last year or two as a Q8 site, but certainly prior to that it had been a Texaco site, and earlier still Esso in the 1970s and Cleveland in the 1960s.
Below I've added all the other images I have of this site, one in about 1980 where the Texaco sign can just be seen bottom left, two of it in 1999 when a run down independent site and another when a hand car wash taken in 2017 and another in 2022.
