Esso - 18 High Street, Eccleshall, Staffordshire ST21 6BZ circa 1970
The Esso garage seen here disappeared a long time ago such that it is pretty much impossible to tell it was ever there. Indeed there were two garages here within a few yards of each other, to the right and behind this viewpoint, there was a Shell site, see image added below.
Also interesting to note is that the clock monument that resides on the road appeared not to be there when this image was taken.
