I am guessing that the garage here fell on hard times for petrol sales when the A350 was bypassed away from Semington. The earliest Streetview shows that petrol sales had already ended well before then. Reading up the new Semington aqueduct opened in 2004 so I think it's likely that the garage here stopped selling fuel around that time, maybe a little earlier once knowing the writing was on the wall. There are no clues as far as I can tell for what brand might have last been sold here.
