Valero - Lutterworth Road, Walcote, Leicestershire LE17 4JW 6
This is one of a handful of sites that has been rebranded to Valero across the country in recent weeks. Valero is an American company based in San Antonio, Texas, and presumably they have a strong link with Texaco beyond just having the rights to the Texaco name in the UK these days. Four former Texaco sites in south Wales have changed to this brand and elsewhere, I think nine sites that were Essar branded have been changed; quite how that deal works out I don't know. In total, according to their website, there are now fifteen Valero branded sites so far across the country.
Many of them have followed the same branding route over the last decade or so from Total to Gulf to Essar and now on to Valero.
I really like this branding, reminiscent of the National branded from way back in the 1980s and earlier, the blue and yellow is a strong combination and on my first proper look at it one I think will be successful in the UK.
As mentioned, this site had been Essar branded, and before that Gulf, and you can see it as both below.
