Pace and the Avon Inn - Avonwick, Devon
Both the pub and the garage here are either side of a road junction with the tiny local St James's church forming the third part of the three essentials of a typical village. I guess the fourth would be a post office but one has to travel a couple of miles to Diptford to find one. Both do well to survive in such a small village on roads which aren't even of B status.
The garage was once Regent branded and then briefly a Gulf site before the Pace branding was introduced about ten years ago. They were official Ford dealers too but the Ford logo on the sign went about thirteen years ago so now just an independent garage. You can see a full image of the garage taken on the same day below along with Richard's photo of it as a Gulf site a little earlier in time and as a Regent site on Streetview.
