Former Petrol Station - Wivenhoe Garage, The Avenue, Wivenhoe, Essex CO7 9AH 1
This place was clearly previously a Murco branded site. It's been closed for a long time now, all the way back to well before Streetview first came along. Even the house next door, to the left, apparently the Gatehouse Building, which was lived in in 2009, has been abandoned and has been boarded up since 2016, possibly a bit longer. I found one old image of the garage from I am guessing the 1950s with the forecourt looking very different. It's clear it was a Shell-BP group site in that era.

In those days it was named Cedric's Garage, apparently they ran a coach hire service out of the garage here, and the business must have been quite revered as this little part of The Avenue in Wivenhoe is called Cedric's Corner by many now. Indeed the earliest Streetview shot shows a sign for Cedric's Coaches in the window.
The full early history of the garage can be read here.

After the 1960s there are no more images, no more info beyond about 1980.
Here's the Streetview
