Murco - Dorney Common, Windsor, Berkshire SL4 6QW 1991
This is one of my most recent acquisitions and shows a lovely Murco garage in a pretty rural location. Nice way to bring up 500 Murco images! So many features to appreciate. The Murco sign is way out of date, they had not only moved on to a newer version of their logo by 1991, they’d actually gone through two by then! The premises are very old indeed, look how the roof sags a lot! Incredibly the garage survived here right up to 2020, but the pumps and sign had been removed before the earliest Streetview shot. I think the car is a Toyota Supra which only adds to the scene. Here’s the same view when the garage was still open.
