The petrol station here survives to the present day although looking very different to how it did here. It followed the expected path of changing to a BP when BP acquired nearly all of Mobil's downstream operations in the UK. Here we see in this era it still had canopies designed by Eliiot Noyes even if the cylindrical pumps had been replaced by now. Later on the site was totally reconfigured to a multi-lane format but before the earliest Streetview shot was taken.
