Fass - The Old Service Station, Heath Road, Boughton Monchelsea, Maidstone, Kent ME17 4JD 2
Last time I passed by here this was a former Murco site with the pumps stripped and seemingly not much going on. Earlier still in time it had been a Texaco site. It was a surprise to read the garage had been resurrected, even more so to a new brand, Fass, which as far as is known has just two sites so far, this one and one in Six Hills Leicestershire, so they are a long way apart. Reading up on the subject it starts to make a bit more sense. The site at Six Hills had been branded Murco, and Murco in the form of MFG are supplying the Fass sites, so the change is possibly slightly more cosmetic than at first appears. Fass as a company specialise in the cleaning of fuel systems including tanks and fuel lines so in particular forecourts. Quite how they made the step to being a fuel brand is less clear. However they are based in Sevenoaks in Kent so this site makes a bit more sense than the one in Leicestershire does.
I have to say it all looks very smart here, branding on the canopy, sign and pumps all matches well and I cannot remember any other fuel brand having a logo and livery in the combination of black and green. (Edit - except in Germany!)
