Arndale - Redlands Garage, Red Lane, Todber, Sturminster Newton, Dorset DT10 1HT 1992 2
I've posted a similar photo to this one before but from a different angle and on a different day for sure. This one also helpfully tells us it is Redlands Garage and is Arndale branded, as if that wasn't clear!
Evidence of this garage just about shows in the earliest Streetview shots but by the present day it's all gone and new houses have taken its place. The site was revamped after this photo was taken explaining why it looks so different even in the earliest Streetview. This really is the sort of garage that couldn't have survived as it was with the pumps right on the side of the road and it's no surprise that it was redeveloped to move the fuel serving to a proper forecourt just down the road. The building we see adjacent to the road was demolished opening up the site considerably as can be seen in the photos below. Not only are the pumps of an older era here, the Skoda sign also looks to be quite old.
