Lots of branding history is known of this site thanks to Ian Calvert. Some of it is now apparent just looking at the canopy edge here. Both its Texaco and Burmah eras are easily seen on the canopy edge as viewed from this angle. Ian has a photo of it when it was a Burmah site, and he also has a photo of it when it was Mobil branded even earlier on, at least, I'm 99% certain it was Mobil then. Streetview shows the site branded Texaco for some time up to maybe a decade ago before it became an independent site. Richard has a photo of it when it was Texaco branded from 2008.

It's interesting to note that in Newark, which is not a million miles away from here, maybe fifty, there is a former Burmah site which was also branded Mobil earlier in its life, I wonder if perhaps at the time they changed to Burmah, it was a chain that did so.
