EP - Unknown Location 5th May 1973
This is a fabulous image of an EP site somewhere in the south of England. The only real clue is the camping site next door, I spent quite a while following that up but it didn't lead to anything! A lot of people make the mistake with this image of thinking everyone is queuing up to meet Miss England but I believe it's actually a photo to go with a story about a petrol price rise! I don't know if the date is 5th May but it seems likely. The petrol here is incredibly cheap too, so maybe that's the reason why, around 40p a gallon more likely for 1973.
