WCF - Wellingore Garage, Cliff Road, Wellingore, Lincolnshire LN5 0HY 12
On my latest visit I actually filled up with petrol here, that was a nice experience. Staff very friendly and if I had more time I could have apparently spoken to someone who works here who could have told me more of the history of the site, although i know a lot of it already. The garage here was branded RP back in the 1980s, then when that brand was taken over by Q8 it was Q8 branded for a while. Then it became a Butler site for a fair while before changing again to Gulf after the Certas takeover of what by then would have been the Total owned Butler and Power network. It may even have been branded Power briefly but no evidence of that exists as yet. After that Gulf period the garage changed again to WCF about five years ago. Between my collection and Richard's photo of it as a Gulf, all these eras can be seen below one way or another!
