Former Petrol Station - JR Cycles, 251 High Road, Whaplode, Lincolnshire PE12 6TJ
Ian Calvert has covered this one already, one of three forecourts to be found in Whaplode, but this one didn't survive retailing fuel. Little is known abut the history of the site and there are few clues either in this image or on Streetview. It was until very recently a bicycle shop, and had been since the earliest Streetview shot. One wonders what brand might have been sold here in its last days, and given the other two sites along the road here are both serving major brands, I'd speculate that this was more of a minor brand, maybe UK?
