Texaco - 2 Dovers Green Road, Woodhatch, Reigate, Surrey RH2 8BS 27th November 1990
This is quite a scene, there's just been an attempted armed robbery of a Securicor van. It was a pretty gruesome one, and the occasion where the police finally were one step ahead of the criminal gang dubbed the successors to the Krays, Richardsons etc. you can read more about the incident and the background to it here.

In researching the story I found an amazing list of notable events of major criminals throughout history which told me that the exact date of this event was 27th November.

As for the petrol station itself, it still exists but is now a BP branded site. Looks like the change came about six years ago.
