Co-op - Burwell, Cambridgeshire 11
Each time I go to Burwell I expect to see this garage change to Asda on the Move but it hasn't happened as yet. As a result I think I'd better take another photo in this branding as it might be the last! I'm not sure how much Manchetts has to do with the petrol retail and shop now, it might be separate from them now, but for a long long time it was always a Jet branded site. Indeed for many decades there was a heating oil supplier, Browns of Burwell, and their lorries always carried Jet branding so I suspect they were all tied in together back in the 1970s and 1980s. Browns of Burwell still exist, these days tied in with NWF fuels, and their base is the opposite end of Burwell from the garage here but I still think there may have been a link.
Back in 2010 the garage was totally rebuilt as can be seen on Streetview.
Below you can see this garage as it was as a Jet site back in 2020.
