Independent - Fairwater Garage, Norbury Road, Cardiff, South Wales CF5 3AT
This garage was by far and away the most expensive I saw on this day. Way above the prices elsewhere, it would be amazing if they ever sold any fuel! The forecourt is also really cluttered too making even gaining access to the pumps a challenge. In fact it occurs to me that those listed prices are a hangover from a year earlier and maybe they stopped selling petrol very recently. The garage had been Butler branded in earlier Streetview images, strangely I don't have a photo of that but luckily Chris Greene does, see below. The Butler branding went about a decade ago and since then the garage has been fully independent.
I found a couple of images on the Evening Standard directory, one shows the garage as Butler branded and the other shows it as an Esso site in the 1960s. See here local.standard.co.uk/company/974869884514304
The garage's own Facebook page (which incidentally hasn't been updated for about five years!) has an image of it as a Butler site as its cover photo. See here

Just the one pump is left on the forecourt these days as seen in the most recent Streetview.
