Little David - Greenway Service Station, Heath Road, Goose Green, Essex CO16 0BT circa 1990
I've posted quite a few images of this garage before, both as Little David and one as a Butler site, and then a modern image showing the considerable change to the site in more recent times. Petrol sales ended here by the early part of the new century, the canopy lasted a bit longer but eventually also went. The pole sign last longest of all, although that too did eventually go from the site.
In this image we see a couple of moped riders on the forecourt, seemingly the only customers at the time. Of the images from this angle previously posted, there's a night-time shot, one with the forecourt totally empty and one with it full of mostly red or red-brown coloured cars! Also a photo of it later on asa Butler site. All can be seen below along with a photo of the site taken just a few years ago.
