Mobil - King Arthur Filling Station - Penpethy, Tintagel, Cornwall PL34 0HH

I've no idea as yet as to where this was. Clearly the name of the site is a clue, but there are various places with associations to King Arthur or the supposed location of Camelot so not as much of a clue as one might at first think. Tintagel, Winchester and Cadbury Castle are three for starters and looking through a list on Wikipedia one can add maybe another dozen places. It might even be coincidence! It also doesn't help that this is such a close up shot, if a bit more of the surroundings were visible that might also help.

It's a great image of a Mobil forecourt I would guess in the 1970s due to there being globes on the pumps and four fold Green Shield Stamps probably makes it more like 1973 or thereabouts. It's a far cry from the Eliot Noyes designed sites that came in that decade.

Anyone out there like to make any suggestion as to where this might have been?

Edit Update:- Location now found. Not only that, the remnants of the site were still visible including one knackered old pump in the 2009 Streetview.
