Former Petrol Station - Corner House Garage, Galhampton, Somerset 2
This place is looking a little more sad even than it did when I last passed by. Back then it had an Esso logo on the wall, which was not really an indication of a former brand but just a sign that someone was looking after the place a bit. That seems to have disappeared in the last two years looking at Streetview. I have an older photo from about 1990 showing it as a working garage under the Butler brand. I don't know when it finally closed but I think before the end of the century. The earliest Streetview shows back then it still read Corner House Garage across the top of the left garage bay, and there was a pole left standing that would have been for the brand logo. Below you can see it as a Butler in about 1990 and also in 2015 with that Esso logo showing.
