Amazingly the forecourt still stands here in the present day, even if it has only been a hand car wash for the last fifteen years. The pub, The Royal Oak, still stands too, but not so the building at the end of the road in the middle here, that had been demolished by the earliest Streetview shot. I guess it's possible that was happening right when this photo was taken, but the scaffolding suggests it was more renovation at this time.
The site once had a car wash, the bay was still there until really quite recently when it was removed.
No clues at all as to the last branding of this site, even in the earliest Streetview shot. I wonder if anyone out there knows?
