Murco- Chivenor Service Station, Chivenor Cross, Devon EX31 4BN 2
Here's another site in this area that has been through various brands and a spell as an independent to end up now under the Murco brand. Last time I passed by it was independent under the name Chivenor Service Station, looks like it was being supplied by Heltor at that time - see below. Earlier than that it was a BWOC branded site. All this detail can be seen in the various Streetview shots. Even earlier still it was branded CC Fuels and Dan Lockton has a photo of that era - also see below. Going back further still in time it may have been an Evoco site and in the 1990s it was a Jet.
I have to say it does look very smart as a Murco and the buildings behind the forecourt are excellent period petrol station architecture.
Far left, and perhaps of interest to the Carwash group, is a car wash bay built in to the building.
