Independent - Moors Garage, South Molton, Devon EX36 4AG 3
Nice to check in on this place again after a six year gap. Still looks exactly the same as it did, although going further back it did of course look different, the last fuel brand it carried was Power. Earlier still it was Anglo branded as can be seen in Dan Lockton's photo below. Apparently established in 1815 and that must have been as a cycle shop. With that photo he cites evidence that it had been a Shell site prior to the Anglo era. It still has booms over the pavement to deliver fuel. These days they are supplied by Heltor and access to the tanks is round the back. Far left you can see where there is access to the back of the site - you can see it's quite an extensive premises viewed from this angle. Streetview shows it was Power branded in 2009.
