Little David - Friends Garage, Front St, Orford, Suffolk IP12 2LP 1991 2
I've still got lots more photos of this place so here are a couple more! This is one of the earliest photos of it that I have, before it had a canopy added. At that time it still had some lovely retro lighting at the pumps. It was still branded Little David when that happened but Friends Garage soon switched to the Butler brand when the Fina Butler group ended the use of both Little David and Arndale as brands. As one would have expected eventually the Butler branding was replaced with Power, as seen in Chris Green's photo below, and ultimately Pace after Certas Energy took over many of the remaining Butler sites when Total left the UK market in about 2013. You can see my photo of it as a Pace below.
Sadly the garage is now closed down, that happened just a few years ago. The most recent Streetview shot shows the site fenced off, presumably ready for demolition which is a real shame.
