The scene here hasn't changed too much over the years except of course the garage is no longer there, it''s now a beauty salon. It's a shame we really only see the National sign and the edge of a pump but it's still enough to realise this was a pretty small garage serving petrol across the pavement and given the road running through here is now the A360, it's easy to see why petrol sales ended. In the era shown the building opposite with the car outside it was probably still then the local post office but it certainly isn't anymore now. There's also a nice pre-Warboys road sign in the distance too.
