Here are some more photos of lovely Riverhead Service Station near Tonbridge. Sadly not a trace of this site remains - it would appear it has become the car park for a Majestic Wine outlet. The road itself has been re-routed to allow for the building of a roundabout which makes the comparison a little harder. In addition a Tesco supermarket with filling station was built in 1998 very nearby so it is speculated that the garage met its demise sometime around then.
In addition, Richard Ffrench-Constant uploaded an even older image of this place, taken in about 1970 showing the garage before redevelopment to look like it does here in my photos, and with the older Amoco pole sign design - see below.
