Applegreen - A14 Spaldwick, Cambridgeshire 8

This garage goes back a long way, it used to be a much smaller concern in the 1970s when it was a Nafta branded site and going further back to the 1960s it was an Esso site. It also had a spell as a Regent site. All of those eras werw when the garage was slightly further into Spaldwick than it is now. The garage here was built I think in the 1980s when the older one closed down and was demolished for new housing. I think it was an Esso when that happened.

In addition I should mention that while Applegreen sites have pretty cheap petrol the same cannot be said for the contents of their shops. I went in here just to buy a grab bag of salt and vinegar and a Wispa bar to be charged over £2.50. Daylight robbery really, at my local Sainsbury I could have had a six pack of regular S+V and a four pack of Wispa bars for only fractionally more!
