Multiple Brands - Wheddon Cross, Somerset circa 1930

This place still exists in a somewhat expanded state in the present day. Indeed I have filled up here in the past, when it was a Murco branded site. It's now a Texaco, but surviving well, now really the only petrol station in the area that forms Exmoor in Somerset. The 2009 Streetview shows that the pumps were an older model back then, I think Gilbarco Highlines.

Here back in maybe about 1930 there is Shell and National Benzole on sale, and there's a sign for John Bull Tyres.
